Hillary Clinton is slated to speak in February at the Colorado Democrats' annual dinner, party officials announced Monday.
The former Secretary of State, and front-runner for the Democratic presidential
nomination, was the first to accept an invitation to the event.
Former Gov. Martin O'Malley and Sen. Bernie Sanders have also been invited to speak at the Feb. 13 gathering.
March 1 is the Democratic caucus in Colorado.
"The road to the White House will go through Colorado, and I can think of no better way to celebrate our party, our people and our shared vision for a better country than with our Democratic presidential candidates," Rick Palacio, chair of the state's Democratic party, said in a statement.
Palacio said he hopes Sanders and Martin attend the dinner as well "so that whomever we nominate, Colorado Democrats will be dining with the next President of the United States on February 13th."
