DENVER BUSINESS JOURNAL - Jax Mercantile, a Fort Collins-based sporting goods retailer, will
open its seventh location in a long-vacant space in Broomfield.
Jax will open in Broomfield Plaza, a shopping center at the northeast corner of West 120th Avenue and Sheridan Boulevard, specifically in a 92,000-square-foot space left vacant by Kmart in 2012. The retailer plans to open around Memorial Day 2016.
Newmark Merrill Mountain States, owner of Broomfield Plaza, is trying to fill up other vacancies in the center, including a 57,000-square-foot space vacated by Hobby Lobby.
