The metro Denver area is expected to bask in mostly sunny skies and warm temperatures on Tuesday, and the rest of the week won't be much different.
is expected to top out close to 70 degrees, according to the National Weather Service in Boulder.
There will be some clouds by Wednesday afternoon, and it will be breezy, with gusts up to 25 miles per hour, said meteorologist Kari Bowen. "It should die down throughout the afternoon," she said.
Day-time temperatures are expected to be in the mid to high 50s to low 60s throughout the rest of the week, with mostly sunny skies through Saturday.
The high country, too, will be mostly sunny with high temperatures in the 40s on Tuesday.
Through the remainder of the week in the mountains, high day-time temperatures will range from 38 degrees to 42 degrees, and skies will be mostly sunny.
