I enjoyed this book, although I had figured out the ending relatively quickly. But it doesn't diminish the relationship in the book. Although, it does make me sad because in

order for one relationship to flourish, another must suffer. Socially, but with understanding, Madeline was not set up to handle how a boy could change the relationship she has with her mother. Many actions and situations are taken to the extremes.

With all that said, I absolute the loved the relationship between Madeline and Ollie. It seemed so natural from the email conversations to the first in-person encounter. It's oh so typical for a teenage romance, but it felt real and comfortable.
