The Super Bowl 50 telecast on CBS Sunday drew a 49 rating, 73 share, according to Nielsen. That makes it the second highest scoring NFL championship game telecast ever among metered markets.

The 73 share means 73 percent of all TVs turned on were tuned to the game.

The number peaked at a 51 rating from 8 p.m. to 8:15 p.m. as the Denver Broncos claimed victory over the favored Carolina Panthers.
