FORT COLLINS COLORADOAN - A PT Cruiser collided with a law enforcement van en route to an
emergency call Sunday morning at Horsetooth Road and College Avenue, resulting in a 5-hour street closure and minor injuries for both drivers.
The crash occurred about 7:15 a.m., when Kathryn Bradley, 24, was driving the Cruiser south on College and a Larimer County Sheriff's Office Hostage/Crisis Negotiation Unit van was traveling west on Horsetooth with active lights and sirens.
The van was headed to an emergency scene in Loveland, police said. It's not yet clear how the two vehicles collided. Both drivers were taken to Poudre Valley Hospital with minor injuries, according to a Fort Collins Police Services press release.
