FOUNTAIN - Police in Fountain are asking
for the public's help in identifying a woman who was found near a truck stop near Interstate 25 Tuesday night.
Police said the woman was causing disturbances near Tomahawk Truck Stop, which is on South Santa Fe Avenue, off I-25 exit 128. Investigators believe the woman may be mentally ill and was suffering from exposure to cold temperatures. She was transported from the truck stop to be medically evaluated.
Her identity is not known. However, she did tell police her name was Beverly a few times.
She is described as a white female with a stocky build. She is between 50 and 60 years old, with sandy blond hair and brown eyes. The woman was wearing a blue sweatshirt with "Colorado" on it, along with grey sweatpants, a red hat and a blue fleece jacket.
