SHERIDAN - Police say two men who arranged to meet a woman they met on social media were robbed
early Sunday morning.
Around 2:20 a.m. officers responded to the 3300 block of South Canosa Court where they located two male victims. The men told police that they were in the area to meet with a woman that they had communicated with through a social media site.
They met the woman in the street and she asked them to follow her to another location. A short distance away the victim were confronted by two men. One of them was armed with a handgun, the other had a large stick. Both men robbed the victims as the woman stood by.
Sheridan Police officers followed snowy footprints to an apartment in the area and detained 5 residents. Three of them were positively identified as the suspects.
Matthew Gene Mondragon, 35, Subhi Joseph Badan-Miera, 18, and Selena Marie Chavarria, 18, all face charges of aggravated robbery and harassment.
