Littleton police are searching for a suspect linked to a stabbing Thursday afternoon at a light-rail station.

Investigators say the stabbing happened about 2:30 p.m. at the station on the

5700 block of South Prince Street. Police say a 51-year-old man was stabbed several times during "some type of confrontation" with the suspect.

The man's wounds were not life threatening.

Police say the suspect fled the scene on foot.

Arapahoe Community College and the Buck Recreation Center were temporarily locked down as authorities responded to the scene.

Littleton police say their investigation into the case is ongoing.
