DENVER BUSINESS JOURNAL - The Denver area commercial real estate market remained healthy in 2015, and
is slowly weaning itself from its long-time reliance on the oil industry.
The burgeoning technology industry is buoying the Denver office market, according to the latest quarterly report from JLL.
JLL opines that skyrocketing rent costs in Silicon Valley and in California are allowing more technology companies to look at markets like Denver.
"Firms like ProtectWise, Altitude Digital, Four Winds Interactive and Ibotta have all been dubbed 'Denver Gazelles,' or fast growing startups. Other companies are following suit, and the metro is poised for even more such success stories," JLL said in its fourth-quarter report.
