A city hall prepares to launch a yearly series of concerts, mixing tradition with modernity. Zhang Kun reports in Shanghai.

From Peking Opera music and recomposed works of Frederic Chopin to

cello performances accompanied by ballet, the Sennheiser Shanghai Concert Hall will explore many areas of music through a series of concerts in March, according to a recent announcement by the venue management.

The program, Music Infinity, under which the series of crossover concerts will be held every year, will be launched on Friday.
