Whooper swans are seen frolicking in the water and flying to search for prey on Swan Lake in Rongcheng city, Shandong province. As the weather becomes warmer, whooper swans, which have

spent the winter in the Rongcheng area, are preparing to migrate back to Siberia where they came from. After four months of carefree days, most of the lovely birds have gained some weight and will have to practice flying to make sure they can manage the long distance migration.[Photo by Lin Haizhen/Asianewsphoto]
