The Pokfulam Village Annual Fire Dragon Festival was held on the night of September 27, 2015. In joint with the Hong Kong Conservancy
Association and Long Valley Eco Paddy, Pokfulam villagers and volunteers crafted the dragon with the grasses from the first batch of harvest from the local eco farm.
As a traditional custom of the village, young villagers performed the fire dragon dance on the night of September 27; they toured around the village as a blessing to the whole village. It aims to nurture and educate the younger generation for a better understanding of the traditional culture, and strengthen the sense of belonging to their motherland.
