Private Expeditions are proud to announce that they will be working with the END Fund on the "Summit to See the END: Kilimanjaro 2014." This is the END Fund’s first trek,

whereby dedicated visionaries, humanitarians, and business entrepreneurs raise awareness and funds while fulfilling the personally challenging goal of climbing Kilimanjaro.

The END Fund is a private philanthropic initiative to combat the five most common neglected tropical diseases (NTDs) that, together, cause up to 90% of the NTD burden in sub-Saharan Africa.

Summit to See the End: Kilimanjaro 2014

NTDs are a group of parasitic and bacterial infectious diseases that affect over 1.5 billion of the world's impoverished people, including 800 million children. They cause severe pain, long-term disability, and are the cause of death for over 500,000 people per year.

A leader in the global health movement, the END Fund works collaboratively with committed partners including global health organizations, visionary investors, pharmaceutical companies, leaders from developing countries affected by NTDs, and those who suffer from the diseases themselves to control and eliminate NTDs.

The Summit to See the END will follow the Machame route with a “tough” group taking 7 days and a “tougher group” taking 6 days. Learn more about the Summit to See the END.
