With 60 per cent of the adult UK population accessing the internet every day,

a charity’s website is a vital part of it communications strategy. Here we shed some light on which charities are achieving the most hits.

Comic Relief, which took place on 18 March, topped this month's chart. The British Red Cross followed close behind. Its online activity was up from 3.5 per cent in February to 7.58 per cent, boosted by appeals for Japan and the Middle East.
