Distinctive style sets it apart from the rest of the pack.

Volvo's XC60 is a nice place to spend a few hours, with an airy cabin and a pleasant demeanor. Some

potential buyers might be drawn by the unique styling, but it's the strong emphasis on comfort and safety that keeps them coming back to Volvo.

Driving It

From our full review of the 2016 Volvo XC60: “Feel the Drive-E 4-cylinder engine in a front-wheel drive 2016 XC60 T5 or XC60 T6 smoothly deliver its excess of power, and you'll be hooked. The FWD XC60 T5 handily outpaces the 2.5-liter 5-cylinder in the all-wheel-drive XC60 T5, even though it makes the same amount of power. The supercharged AND turbocharged version in the 2016 XC60 T6 is even better, although the torque steer in FWD models isn't very fun.”

Last year, the Volvo XC60 received an all-new engine line, called Drive-E. These engines have horsepower that is similar to the power that larger engines produce, yet the Drive-E engines are more fuel-efficient, produce fewer emissions and weigh less, which improves how the SUV drives.

Build and Price

The 2016 Volvo XC60 T5 starts at about $37,000, with the T6 R-Design Platinum topping the line at over $57,000. Build and price your own 2016 Volvo XC60 to unlock its Fair Purchase Price, 5-Year Cost to Own and more.

From the Owners

Mac loves the XC60, except for one issue: "I have driven this car from Ohio to Oregon and back and have to say, it is a true "road car". Great handling, acceleration, etc., but I am VERY disappointed in the Bluetooth and navigation technology. You have to go through several steps to make a phone call."
